Eugen also served as the CEO of Wadi.com, which had a total investment of EUR 100M and an employee base of 1,000. Wadi.com was exited to MAF holdings. In addition to this, Eugen has worked with Rocket Internet on their venture Lazada, which was sold to Alibaba for USD 3.2B. Earlier in his career he established Rakuten’s presence in Austria and he gathered experience at Bwin Interactive Entertainment AG and later moved on to an Austrian Media company Echo Medienhaus where he served as a Country Manager.
